BOOP! The Musical, will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, July 13. At that time, the show will have played 25 previews and 112 regular performances.

And that completes the 'post-Tony fallout' foursome which was predicted before the Tony Awards. Surprised 'Boop' held out as long as it has, but I guess they were hoping for some extra cash over July 4 week / weekend.

Incredibly sad!  This was my favorite show of the season that I’ve seen.  Wish they could at least play through Labor Day or so to catch the summer tourists, but this was not surprising news.

Everyone is saying this will do very well on tour, and when its licensed to colleges, high schools, and community theaters. It will take producers a much longer time to recoup their investment (maybe decades), but they'll get something through these avenues.
