Hotel visitors allowed?

Does anyone know which countries/major cities in Asia allow or prohibit hotel visitors? For planning outcalls or just for Grindr hookups.  I've read conflicting info about this.

I'm planning a trip to Tokyo and from what I've read this can be an issue there. Is that right? I'm also curious about the other major destinations in Asia too.

For the most part I prefer to stay in large "4-star" hotels if that makes a difference. Thanks for any advice!

My experience has been that the hotel staff mostly keep their noses out of your business, as long as you are discreet and courteous. Be aware of local laws and customs in Asia - easy to find online.
