Can anyone explain how to access Escorts' profiles at AOL? I have only been able to locate isolated ones among masses of unrelated sites. A search for, say, Gay Escort Services tends to produce articles related to travel and religious services. In addition, do AOL chat sites for Escorts actually exist openly, or are they conducted on the basis of some sort of code for those in the know?

AOL frowns on explicit profiles, as it is designed to be a family service (while many knock AOL I always say you know what you are signing on for if you don't like it use something else). Anyway, having said that, Escort profiles don't have any standard phrases in them that are easily searched. You can use "Escort" but you will get many that are female, as well as proflies that just have that word in it.

 

If you are actually looking for an escort in your area I would suggest that you 1. look here on this site, and 2. On AOL scan the member created chat rooms for your area. Depending on where you live you will often find several Escorts online at the same time, or at least their screen names will be on.

I'm sure results differ depending on where you live, but in the San Francisco Bay Area, if I do a member profile search and use "escort" and "francisco" as my keywords and select "male" and "only members online", I usually find about a dozen escorts on in the evening. If you change "escort" to "massage", you'll get double the hits. If you don't select the "only users online" button, you'll get over 100.

 

There are escorts who don't use either "escort" or "massage" in their profiles but instead let their screen names announce their intent, using the words "for hire" or "for rent".

 

There are also user-created rooms called "escortsm4m" and "escortm4m" but I think more escorts, when online, tend to hang out in the "m4m" rooms for the areas in which they are located.
