The former MLB reliever was pulled from the wreckage alive after 11 hours but was DOA at the hospital.  He either holds the record for having pitched for the most teams, or he was one short of the record.  RIP

Dotel pitched for 13 different big-league teams (a record later broken by Edwin Jackson, at 14). 

Pedro Martinez has said that he has family members that are still missing in the collapse.

The number of deaths is now 218.  With a small area still not cleared of rubble and some survivors in critical condition, the number might climb even higher.  What a tragedy, it’s hard to wrap your head around it.
