viewing ownly Posted January 9 Posted January 9 I'm noticing a sizable contingent of men nominated soon to be in town to attend the men's gay porn awards show. Quite a few of them already have booked schedules for filming content with other talent. That is a no-brainer, so when I'm told by high in-demand guys they just can't squeeze me in, I'm simply grateful to get a polite response and don't take it personally. Last year, I booked a porn star who accepted my arrangement. I kept tabs with him at reasonable intervals to ensure that he was still on with our meet-up. All the while, I had unjustified concerns that I was going to be blown off. I was assured by men who had seen him before that this isn't something he would do, and is a stand-up guy. Sure enough, he met with me as arranged, and he went back to his business with the porn awards the moment I walked out of the door. My big regret was simply putting off someone I wanted to see even more than the guy I chose. He had one of those "get out of this crazy business" revelations, and quit making porn and seeing clients soon thereafter - and I didn't keep his #. A suggestion - jot down provider's contacts. When their ad is gone, that doesn't mean per se that they aren't seeing clients. soloyo215 1
BuffaloKyle Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Sorry you didn't get to meet with the guy who you really wanted to see. I guess the moral is when you get the chance to hire someone do it otherwise you never know what can happen. For me I started hiring right before covid. Had all these guys in mind I wanted to hire. Then the pandemic came and most of them disappeared. So I know how you must feel to lose the chance. soloyo215 1
