TonyDown Posted January 2 Posted January 2 "Jose" is an award winning film about a young man that lives with his mother in Guatemala. If you still plan to see it, there is a minor spoiler below, last part. I streamed it on Tubi. There were no subtitles and my Spanish comprehension is minimal. However, I understood enough to figure out the story. In short, this is my kind of movie. So poignant. One can't help but care about the lead. Obviously a well done movie, an award winner at Venice Film Festival. The ending is unconventional. I appreciate movies that offer the audience some ambiguity rather than a definite endpoint. thomas 1
