How to edit a post or comment?

I wanted to edit one of my posts, but I don't see the option?  How do you do it?

You can only edit a post for the first 24 hours after it was submitted by clicking the 3 dots to the right of the post and choosing "Edit".

We had people abusing the edit feature, so it had to be restricted.  We tried to make the amount of editing time reasonable to give people time to think about what they said and have a chance to change it themselves if necessary.  In the mean time, if you can no longer edit a post, feel free to report it to the moderators (see the screen shot above for the "Report" button).  Simply choose "Update Content" as the report type and in the comment field explain what you would like to edit.
