Fellow Providers - VPN's, Secondary Phone Numbers, Etc.

Getting back into the industry after some time away and looking to be more discreet. Planning to have a faceless profile, a website with pictures/info to send when there's interest. 

I am wondering if my fellow providers use VPN's, secondary phone numbers, end to end encrypted messaging apps and other tools of discretion in their work. I'd like to create a presence that does not trace back to me without some serious leg work. Any tips would be appreciated. For example - can one create a phone number that does not have their name attached to it?

I don't expect y'all to spill secrets here, but if anyone can message me and guide me, that would be great.

I use a Google Voice number so that I have a separate number for clients
