Detroit??

What's it going to take to get a strip club in the detroit area??? I'm sure I'm not the only who's starving for a club in the Detroit area after the loss of the gold coast years ago.

I don't think Detroit can support a gay strip club now.  It doesn't have a gay center like Boystown or Church St.  Ferndale is a bit too small and wouldn't welcome a strip club.  It also doesn't have a good entertainment zone with low rents. Toronto and Chicago are close enough to compete for talent and weekend traffic they have clubs still hanging on.  Detroit wasn't exactly supportive of Gold Coast either, with frequent police raids.

Probably right about detroit. There's also Ann arbor which is a very gay friendly city. They would have to have it in Ypsilanti. I don't think the city of Ann arbor would allow it.
