My 2 year IPAD  will not open. I took it  to the Apple store and they  cold not open it as well. Just a blank screen. It was fully charged when this happened and tried holding down the power button with the VOL up many times but no luck. This is an AIR Ipad with Wifi+data costing me $800 and no longer under warranty. Any suggestions?

I´m no iPad expert (I use android myself) but here are a couple of things you may want to try:

Force Restart

iPad with Home Button: Press and hold the Home button and the Top (or Side) button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.

iPad without Home Button: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button, then press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Finally, press and hold the Top button until the Apple logo appears.

Restore via iTunes/Finder

Connect to a Computer: Use a cable to connect your iPad to a computer with iTunes (or Finder on macOS Catalina and later).

Enter Recovery Mode:

For iPads with a Home button, press and hold the Home button while connecting the iPad to the computer until you see the recovery mode screen.

For iPads without a Home button, press and release the Volume Up button, press and release the Volume Down button, then press and hold the Top button until the recovery mode screen appears.

Restore iPad: In iTunes or Finder, follow the prompts to restore your iPad. Note that this will erase all data on your iPad, so use it as a last resort if you have no other options.
