last saturday evening, while trying to quiet my heart after Donovan's performance, i noticed denise feeding a painfully skinny cat in the office of the gaiety. i asked if the cat was a stray and she said yes; after a little heated debate, she accepted my donation of several dollars for cat food.

 

should we encourage pussy at the gaiety? should patrons show up with several cans of pussy food to help out denise? is this cat really present to deter other species of less-popular critters at the gaiety? no im not talking about rudy! and, most importantly, can the gaiety be both a safe haven for pussy and the premiere cock club of New York City.
