Has anyone had a massage by Sports Massage by William?

Atlanta Gay Massage - Male Masseurs for Men in GA - Masseurfinder

The cost is $80 for a 60 minute massage. and he has great reviews.

I'm skeptical for a few reasons. What are your thoughts?

1. Only does outcalls.

2. The pictures look fake.

I'd add this red flag #3

"SAFETY NOTICE: I REQUIRE THAT NEW CLIENTS PROVIDE A SIMPLE FACE PHOTO PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT."

Sending my face photo to a masseur for hire is an absolute no in my book. The one and only time that a masseur requested this from me, I declined and he canceled our appointment.

Avoid. Foolishly, I sent a photo at his request when he had a Rentmasseur profile. After providing my address information and confirming the appointment, he cancelled at the arrival time and then blocked me on RM. 

If you care to know more, here are the details:  His profile on RM was showing available and I sent an email and received a quick response. Based on the positive email exchange, I texted him to schedule a session. After providing address information, he asked for a face photo for his safety. I was hesitant, but the communication had been very positive so I sent a photo. He responded right away and confirmed the appointment time. Just before the scheduled time, he texted that there was an emergency with his son and he needed to cancel the appointment. I responded that I understood and wished him well. When I logged into Rentmasseur, he was showing available and had blocked me. 

As far as the photos, the Masseurfinder photos are a much more enhanced version of his RM photos.

I gave it a go, it was just okay for me. I have plenty of thoughts on it, but didn't find it worth repeating.

The ad defintely upsold more than the experience allowed. Massage was just okay. Pressure was just okay. Used the massage gun on and around the front, which I didn't find pleasurable, though I've heard others have. He was very kind, easy to talk to, but no chemistry, the touch wasn't sensual, and it seemed like HE was on the table, but I just wasn't feeling it. For the price, it was okay. He was prompt. Looks like the pictures enough, despite using the AI generator for the ones on MF. YMMV.

was also very put off by the "safety policy" photo thing but decided to reach out anyway. not sure what u other guys are talking about cuz my 3 experiences with William have all been totally amazing. first he knows what he's doing for sure and I requested a sports massage that was very sensual and he TOTALLY DELIVERED. Don't wanna go into detail but it was more than I was expecting. he keeps a full schedule but anytime I ask he offers me what he can or lets me know when he has a cancellation. he never flaked on me anytime we book. I don't know if his kids are ai or not but looks like dude in real life to me lol. very attractive guy but that's my opinion. sounds like maybe the he had a reason to block u cuz dude is 100 in my opinion.

Similar no show experience. I reached out once and got his text message listing options and asking me for a pic. Then he would never respond back. About 6 months later I had a new number and tried again.

This time he agreed to come over and then texted back he was in a car accident and wasn't going to make it. He did not offer to reschedule. I saw he was available a few months later and tried again.

When I told him I was the one who had an appointment but then he was in the wreck...once again he ghosted me for some reason. No idea...but I gave up after that.

I welcome others to chime in on this but it looks like he did a YMMV avoidance on you after he saw the photo you shared with him. While this type of incident has never happened to me, if I were you I would move on from this swiftly and book an appointment with another masseur who will treat you right.

I had a good massage with William. He was kind and had a great attitude.. He's actually a very skilled masseur and had great stretches he incorporated. He may have different types, but the one I had was sensual without going farther, which was perfect for me. Good tone stayed professional. But he's really talented and is a legit good masseur and very easy to with with, so recommend. He stays busy, and to me it was clear why.

just discovered company of men and have a few massage therapists to review so I'll start with my 3 experiences with william in Atlanta. I'm a local and tried probably 10 to 12 local guys. William is in my top 3! probably most unique and thorough experience with a massage therapist I've ever had. the only reason he's not my #1 is cause he can be hard to get into last minute when I always want to schedule most. all 3 times I saw him we planned for 90 minute but he always went over time and never charged me for more than the 90. he had zero awkward vibes actually chill AF. pixs in his ad are definitely real. I asked for at least half the session focus on certain areas he more than took care of me. I really can't understand other comments on here about him maybe he was creeped out by u idk

So I reached out to him and he was very responsive.

We set up an appt for sat 3pm.  I provided all the info he asked for.  He even sent a screenshot from his scheduling app that showed my name and time.

About 1pm I asked if we were still on.  He replied back with  sorry but there was an illness in his family. 

Hey it could be legit - but with all the comments of him not showing I think it's just coincidental.   I will make another attempt to book with him.  If he ghosts or cancels, then SEE YA

Update:

What I neglected to mention in my last msg.  When he did reply  2 hours before our appointment this is what he said:

"i am so sorry I am busy not realizing I need to update you !!!!! this morning my wife ... my son and I all 3 woke up with flu symptoms ... I went to CVS and got rapid flu and covid tests for us ... and my son and I tested positive for both flu and covid ... and my wife has the flu .... and all 3 of us a VERY VERY VERY sick!  being so sick .... as proof it never even entered my foggy brain to message any of my appts today to cancel until I just saw your message. I feel absolutely terrible and hope you understand it was not at all intentional. I'm gonna shoot you 3 recommendations for other .massage therapists here in town that I personally know and who are incredible at what they do."

He also attached a pic of a positive covid test - WHO does that?  Like he was going out of his way to make me believe it.

Several days later, I sent him a polite message asking if his family was ok (covid) and when he would be accepting appointments.  He ghosted me for almost a week until I got this yesterday:

"Hey man I'm so sorry about the lack of communication ... unfortunately I’m unable to take on any new clients at this time … as I'm only a part-time therapist and my wife and I have new baby twins at home .. they just arrived last week. So the limited availability I have stays scheduled out pretty far with established regular/repeat clients. Sorry I'm not able to schedule with you ... however if you want a few HIGHLY recommended therapists whose tables I have personally spent time on ... and whom I can vouch for how highly skilled and professional their therapy is .. check out the 3 LMTS below who are all located here in the ATL area (you won't be sorry!!!) ..."

 

Worth noting:  I texted him from another number inquiring about his ad.  He repsonded positively and of coursed asked for more info and a pic - which I never replied to.

Also worth noting his first reply said he his wife and kids had covid.  But in his message yesterday he mentioned newborns.   Ok so first of all whole family had covid? possible.  But newborns getting covid?

 

Bottom Line:   I now agree with MANY of the posts here that he will book and cancel. I suspect the pic is what does it - if he likes you or not.   His ad and the few positive reviews got me interested.  I'm ok with therapeutic only.  

Also it will be interesting to see if he takes down his ad - now that he is no longer taking new clients.

I'm tempted to reply to the text from the other number and say i'm ready to book see what happens

 

To the legit masseurs out  here - what do you think of this - be honest; do you think this is legit and i'm over reacting or is this guy playing games?

btw i told you william replied to my google voice text thursday.  I just sent a reply apologizing for delay. I mentioned doubt you are taking appts this week, but how about next week
