I will preface these remarks by saying that I have never seen Mr. Herrington. However, I can recall an incident where he was appearing here in North Carolina at a club in Greensboro, I think, where he "walked" in the MIDDLE of a performance there. If memory serves caused the management and possibly some patrons some money. Also have read some reviews in the past from clients who have been treated very poorly by him. He sounds very narcissistic and as if he does want to rip-off the gay comminity. The buzz on this guy is not good. May warrrant an invesitgation by Hooboy and a "flag on the field" warning.

While I have never met Billy for a private, I will say that I met Billy tonight at The Works in NYC (a bar on the Upper West Side). There was a special benefit for the Metro Gay Wrestling Alliance to send their wrestlers to the Gay Games in Sydney. I chatted with him for about twenty minutes and I did not find any of the attitude that so many in this forum have alluded to. He seemed to be a genuine, down to earth guy. He brought some of his videos and DVD's for a raffle and a wrestling match with him was auctioned off so he does seem to be quite charitable. Anyway, thought I'd point this out.

Billy's ongoing 'rehabilation' campaign went into overdrive last week on Bannon's MuscleService Logbook. He's now in NYC, doing all he can to hustle up some bookings in the face of the sort of homophobic image that makes Dr. Laura look like Judy Garland in comparison. Seems as if all the bad publicity finally made a big enough dent in BH's wallet for him to consider mending his ways. Things have gotten so bad, in fact, that he may have to BOTTOM in some upcoming video or other--a career move that many consider ill-advised, if not downright box-office poison.

 

The current campaign over at Bannon's site began with a fulsome promo by his 'manager,' the notorious David Forrest. This unleashed an unprecedented flood of postings (many negative, a few supportive, and--most interesting of all--quite a number from Billy himself) that totalled an amazing 170 or so messages in just three or four days.
