I’m an hour and a half away from them.  I texted them this morning to confirm – but didn’t hear back from them.  Left my home to start the long drive and they just now sent me a text to cancel for tonight.  Wanted to reschedule with me.

No – you don’t do this – I won’t reschedule with them – maybe if I was in the same town close by.  But you do not cancel on someone who has to drive that far just to see you.

Being cancelled on sucks, yes for sure. However, your distance from them doesn't have anything to do with them cancelling the appointment. I foolishly drove two hours one way to a guy I previously saw twice and enjoyed who cancelled on me when I got to his massage studio for attempt 3 (note on studio door) AND attempt 4 (just ghosted). Try # 5 is a never, but I regret that fourth drive to this day.
