The whole "Miss" anything Competition feels a bit dated anyway. So why not piss off a bunch of people to get some press for the event

Specially those who should mind their own business and not let themselves be pissed off over something like this.

There's always those who are going to become enraged over non conformist cultural changes. So why not use them to get some free publicity.
