Ali Gator Posted December 10, 2023 Share Posted December 10, 2023 (edited) Hollywood's #1 NepoBaby, Melissa (Rosenberg) Rivers, has announced she is engaged to be married for a second time to lawyer Steve Mitchel. The 55-year-old media personality says she got engaged on October 13, in a surprise proposal (she never saw this coming). She believes her mom (the late Joan Rivers who passed away nine years ago, leaving her a fortune) would approve of the ring and the fiancé. ( 23 year old son Cooper already approves of his new soon-to-be step-dad). The ring was custom designed by her friend Peter MacNeal of "MacNeal and Grunberg". In past interviews, Rivers - who's been divorced for 20 years after a five year marriage to John Endicott - said she'd never marry again. However, she had a change of heart when Mitchel - whom she met at a charity event a little over a year and a half ago - proposed to her while vacationing in Mexico. Rivers said they are taking 'baby steps' and won't rush into marriage. She expects she will 'tie the knot' again no sooner than 2025, in a ceremony much less lavish than what her mother gave her in 1998. Though Mitchel is an attorney, let's hope she has a better attorney writing up her pre-nup. It would be a shame if the marriage didn't last, and Mitchel walks away with Joan Rivers' hard-earned fortune.
