contacted yesterday and not only was the guy that came not the guy in the pics, but it was TWO guys that looked nothing like this. It has already been reported. Thankfully I was with a very trustworthy provider that helped get the two men to leave.

What did the two guys look like that showed up? Hard to believe that this ad has been active since September 2018 & they have managed to get away with this for so long. I hope Rentascam removes the ad.

Please be safe out there, gentlemen! I can’t for the life of me understand how anyone would meet a complete stranger without verifying who they are with a quick video call?? If the provider doesn’t allow this then just move on!

So one of them was an older (maybe late 40s or early 50s) Latino man. He wasn't ugly honestly, but he was trying very hard to come into the apartment and kept saying "you're getting two for the price of one"

The second guy was a younger possibly Dominican guy. He couldn't have been more cocky if he tried. Kept saying "but you gotta check out my body".

As I said, I knew right away that this wasn't gonna happen and the regular, trusted provider I was with was on the same page as me. So we were very much able to get them to leave.

I did actually try to get a video call or pic of him, but he ignored every request. When I showed the regular provider, he was thinking the same thing I was before they came. We both thought that it was a 50/50 chance that it would be the guy that showed up. But we played it safe from the start and we were both safe. So it was good for the two of us. 

 

But I do agree with you, let's all be careful out there! There are absolutely scammers and tricksters out there that will take advantage of us.
