"Blocked" vs. "Ignore User" option

I may have missed it as a new member of the site,  but I only see  "ignore user"  options  and not "block"  a  participant you'd rather eliminate.

It looks like "ignore "  doesn't work very well.    Should there ever be an issue where one wants to "block"  all communication and each user seeing the others information,  is that possible?     Thank you.

Ignore is what you want to use.

Simply enter the person's name and choose what you want to ignore.  Posts are messages posted on the forum.  Messages are PMs.  Mentions are tags like @RadioRob.  If you don't want them to exist for you, just select everything.
