"American Gladiators" documentary on Netflix

I just binged this 5-episode series yesterday.  It was a guilty pleasure of mine back in the 80's and 90's.  Always lots of eye candy on the show, and a good amount in the documentary.  I thought I remembered hearing way back when that one of the male gladiators was gay, but nothing's coming up when I google it.  Does anyone else remember that?

I didn't know Netflix had one as well. I watched the "30 for 30" that ESPN did back in May. I don't think any of them were gay. Nothing listed on the wikipedia page about that and no mention in the documentary. One of the female gladiators was gay though and was told to not bring her girlfriend to any events or the set.
