What a shame. Such good content there.  Was a great time waster for me.

Yes!

I had an account on NewTumbl with a lot of followers.  I was on it yesterday uploading content, viewing content, (and enjoying content ) when suddenly it updated and I was kicked out.  

I too would LOVE suggestions for an alternative.

Yeah, I had three blogs on there. Last night I uploaded some new material. This morning I found all of them gone and no email nor reason. Not just mine but all those I follwed too! The site just has a message: 

It's been a blast.

i signed up but it seems like there is little there.
