Hi Folks, This is almost my first posting, however I have been reading the board since the early days of Hooboy. I am unsure if I am posting this in the best area, and I certainly welcome input from anyone, not just escorts.

Unfortunately, an escort friend of mine is going through a nasty break up with his partner of 3 years. This is a very bad situation.

My friend (the escort) is now posting pictures of his partner with him on some of the sites he advertises on, (never did before the break-up), some have sexual contact with each other. Unfortunately, his partner (non-escort) is unaware of these and most definitely would not approve (very bitter situation). I guess my main question is can the person whose picture is posted without permission have their picture removed even though it is on someone else’s advertisement? What might be the best way to go about this?

While I care for my friend, I consider what he is doing to be very wrong. He is just so hurt that he is doing anything to get back (this is the “Nuclear Option”). It seems that his intent is to damage his ex at work, and amongst friends and family. Quite frankly I am worried about both, and I am treading very lightly around this situation.

Any practical suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

I'd contact the people in charge the websites. Isn't there a law about possible legal ramifications of nudie pics and "age on file" or consent?

Hey stud!

The good news is that most escort websites are just a business. They want to provide a simple service and want to take no risks at all. If your friend's ex contacts the webmasters of those sites telling that the images they are displaying on their sites are copyrighted and they are risking a lawsuit it is very likely they will take those pictures down with no further questions asked. I myself have had my pictures used by other people and a short concise email or call always does the trick. (Even with horribly flaky and disorganized websites such as rentboy.com)

It is sad to hear about your friends, but it is great you are concerned about justice. Luckily time does heal it all.

A tight hug and best wishes!
