What do you pay for extras ?

Same here. My "dried up cock" comment was just a generality to highlight the callousness of the comment made by someone that if a masseur provides sexual services without prior discussion "THAT'S ON HIM". ( As if any masseur is just so hot for you, they just needed to jump on your dick ).  I think plenty of masseurs are good at "reading the room" and if their client is excited, they will get them off with the expectation the client will be thankful and tip generously.  If you don't want to pay more, then you should push them away if they offer to ride the pony.

This exactly. I have had to rein in some masseurs from taking things past the original agreement. Their reasons are their own for doing so but, in most cases, I was not there to get topped or anything else.

Some were offended by me doing so, and those were providers I never saw again. We agreed to a set of services and you decided to move past that. I want what I ask for, and if I want more, I’ll ask for more.

Those of you acting all indignant when someone dives down on your dick are all big boys and can say no too. If you accept those services, do as Simon says, and pony up.

I think if you asked for services and the masseur goes further (and you accept it) then there’s no obligation on you as the client to pay more. You might give a tip but shouldn’t feel that just because the masseur voluntarily offered extra that you should pay up.

If I go further than what my client initially agreed (and I’d be very careful to only do that if I’m sure he’s comfortable with it because people do sometimes want more once the massage has started) then it’s up to me. If a client specifically wants to fuck me or me fuck them as part of the session and it’s agreed beforehand then yes I’ll charge extra but that’s different to me volunteering extra after the session started.

That's exactly my point of view (even though I'm a client). Interestingly both Jamie and I are from across the pond (I'm from Europe, he is from the UK). It really does seem to be a difference in (tipping) culture.

Everyone has made excellent points on this thread.  I tend to fall in the middle when it comes to those providers who advertise as masseurs and do so clearly in their ads placed on massage-only sites like rentmasseur or masseurfinder, as opposed to escort-geared sites like rentmen or friendboy.  In those cases where the session has escalated into escort territory, I’ve paid what I feel is the prevailing escort rate in the form of a higher than usual tip.

I think it’s somewhat different for those masseurs whose ads on massage sites go to great lengths to convey that their regular service includes particular sexual acts.  Such as when they use certain buzzwords for those acts just to avoid the website’s automatic filter, and then their private photos show them engaged in those acts.  If you read their reviews on the site, you can see that many of their clients do the same thing where they use certain buzzwords to convey that this provider simply offers sex as a routine part of his service.  To me, this all says that these acts aren’t offered as an upsell or as a not-so-subtle manipulation into getting paid as an escort under the guise of an expected “tip.”  I’ve been told by one of my regular escorts that maintaining a provider ad/profile on rentmen is significantly more expensive than on rentmasseur.  So, if these providers choose to offer a service that combines elements of massage & sex at a price that’s below the prevailing market rate for escorts (but, in fairness tends to be slightly above the prevailing massage rates too), then that’s their specific business model.  I don’t think a client is taking advantage of them or is paying them inequitably by paying them their rate without a huge tip.

Just my two cents on the matter

A lot of the guys who call themselves massage therapists are just escorts. The DC area is annoying because the guys expect way too much coin for what they give, and most of them tend to be old or don't take care of themselves.

If I'm going to pay for sexual interactions then I'm choosing someone attractive. Going through the various websites looking at some of these guys and the last thing I want them to do is touch me. When it comes to paying I ask, they give me a price, and I'm free to accept or not. I don't like games and I know what I want.

The guys in NYC at the M4M massage places get that. It's safer than meeting a guy off a website and much more convenient.

Remember that douchecanoe who freaked out because the massage therapist rubbed his ass, so he sued? Fucking stupid. All he had to do was say no thank you, but instead he gets all butt hurt (no pun intended) and freaks out. I've had many massage sessions with men and women who have indicated, or maybe fondled my balls asking if I want extras. If I'm not into them or don't want to I just politely decline.

If you've got an issue with a guy randomly going down on your dick while you're naked in front of them... then I'd say you have deeper issues going on and should seek therapy.
