This forum is full of Brazil/Mexico/Columbia type info, but none on Chile (only one i found from 2019 had no replies)...so let me try my luck again and see if anyone has info on the scene in Santiago..thanks

It remains a conservative Catholic country with many closets, regardless of the political party in power. When I was there for a few weeks years ago, I relied on eye contact in the center, but also in Providencia and Las Condes, and met a few hot men that way. It’s a very interesting country. On Independence Day, the parade is full of goose-stepping troops wearing German helmets and uniforms. They were trained by the Prussians.
