I have been asked twice now by regular clients with nice, comfortable places, with privacy for me, if i would consider living with them in exchange for services rendered now and then. That could be the problem area. Your idea of "now and then" may not be the same as his idea of "now and then". If he is paying the rent, so to speak, he might be more demanding than he initally claims to be. Better have it spelled out before taking the plunge.

 

Also, would that inhibit your ability to do "in calls"? My guess would be, yes.

If you like him, it may be worth a try. Reach an agreement on essentials, and perhaps put them in writing. Weigh what you have to lose with what you have to gain. If you don't at least like him, forget it.
