Extended Stay Travel Health Insurance

Partner and I plan an extended stay in Southeast Asia (more than just Thailand).  I'm on a Medicare Advantage Plan.  Partner is not.  We normally get travel policies from Allianz thru the airline website.  The coverage is limited and last year I ended up paying the US equivalent of $10,000 for excellent care in a Malaysian hospital (toxic reaction to a medication caused kidney shutdown).  I'd like to find a way to limit that expense this year.  Thanx
