I'm a newbie, joined this forums before my trip to NYC pride. Donating my few cents after returning home. Saw Alex profile and read here some of the reviews. 

Met Alex in his studio in NYC  

In my experience, what you see is what you get. A professional muscular masseur that allows at the last part of the massage mutual touch. For me, worshipping his muscles while the HE was all I needed for the extra curricular activities. And for that, besides a nice professional massage, he is the real deal. Would repeat. YMMV.

Goodness, I see the vexed saga with Alex_muscles continues despite the hundreds of threads already written on him. Based on the many reviews on here, I never had any interest in hiring him. It’s clear he’s straight and that he massages gay men only to make good money. It’s apparent that he provides a strictly professional massage allowing for some muscle worshipping during the happy ending. He himself is clear about that. However, it’s true that advertising on both rentmasseur and rent.men is certainly misleading and that he evidently profits from the unrealistic expectations his ads nurture. I hope we can put those expectations to rest one of these days and stop seeing yet another thread on him. I think his latest review on rentmasseur sums it up well. I quote the review:

“He gave a very good sensual massage. Very handsome. However, he is straight and he made it very clear that he hates doing this.”

He might not “hate this” but obviously you can’t expect a straight man to enjoy massaging horny gay men in the nude. Granted, he likely has some homophobic tendencies. See his long, defensive response to the review

Well, it makes sense. He’s straight. Escorting for women is his best shot at making really good money while he has a steady income without much effort massaging desperate gay men who are easily satisfied by just touching his pecs and biceps in the nude. A smart businessman who knows how to diversify.

It is a smart business decision given the natural life cycle of his business model, which is basically a hot straight guy charging a lot for not providing much. It's not a coincidence that he is traveling more and more, as his ability to skim the NYC market has gone down. Most guys try it once or twice and go "OK, I've seen it, I'm done." In order to entice the customer to keep coming back, one has to leave some VALUE on the table for the customer. If one skims the market (again, this is rational if one hates his job and is in it to make nice money for a while before moving on), even the huge NYC market (locals plus visitors) is not big enough.

He is a smart businessman, but many smart and savvy clients able to resist thinking with their small heads should be able to see through what is on offer here. 😉

BTW, I am increasingly DONE with frequent travelers charging $200. I just hate the feeling of being used as an ATM in a very transactional way. Granted, the market in central FL is limited, but I do have a handful of pretty good options in the $160 range. I'll see a $200 an hour visitor if I see pretty unanimous stellar reviews here, though.
