Escort requests photos before he'll show you his?

I've seen this a number of times on Craigslist and have wondered what other thought about it.

 

It seems that the escort doing the advertising should be upfront with photos or at least be willing of supply one on request if someone shows interest. Asking prospective clients to cough up photos first seems to suggest that there's something else going on outside the norm.

 

I'm NOT some hideous creature but I am 50, past my prime and outta shape. I freely admit this and haven't taken any photos in a long time. I'm single, out and don't give a damn but a request for a photo from a prospective escort sets off "sting alarms"

craigs is a bit different than other places for several reasons. One the guys aren't usually that experienced, two yes the police are more likely to post as its free, and many providers want some sort of personal info photo, phone number to insure their personal safety. It seems to be more a concern with the gals than guys though

I just look at those guys as trying to find a date who will pay them, rather than someone who is serious about being an escort.

Thats bollocks! If they want or need a pic then I say NEXT! As someone already mentioned some ask for a pic for safety reasons but there are other ways to protect ones safety. There are those of us that are just as professional if not more that do not require a photo.

Some guys collect photos from the internet, and escorts get a lot of requests from guys who are not serious, just want photos. The escort asking for the client's photo first, suggests that is a way to limit requests to serious guys. I would not send the photo in any event.
