Hey guys got an amail today that I thought was a little unusual, and was qurious if any of you have come across anything like this before, and any thoughts you may have about this.

The email basically went like this, a guy from England supposedly was interested in hiring me for 3 days here in the US. and wanted to know if I would be available and what my rates would be. I responded and said yes I would be available these specific dates and my rate would be $2,000 plus any expenses he replyed back asking for my info name add. etc. And that he would be sending me a money order for $6,000 and for me to deduct $800 for a retainer and for me to send the balance to a different country. And that I would get the rest of my fee when he arrived here. Any way just wanted to see if any of you have come across something simmilar. Almost sounds like a money laundering scheme to me.

Best Wishes.

This was a huge thread a few weeks ago talking about this problem. Definitely a scam and there was a shitload of responses on this and warnings to stay away.

Yup, its bullshit man, so just delete them

PS excuse my lack of eloquence:-)

  • 1 month later...

A friend of mine who is an escort today received a similar email which I believe is from the same people who started this scam. The guy said he was coming to US from UK and that he wanted to hire my friend. He said someone here in the states owed him $3000 and that he could arrange him to send a money order to my friend and that he could send the difference to him. Don't do it... I am sure the money order would be counterfeit and then he would be out the money
