While this is a small, indie horror film that's just now hitting a wider release in theaters, it's still flying under the radar.

If you like '80s-era horror/gore, this one's for you. 

Fun throwback synth-beat soundtrack.  

A surprisingly good cast who sells the shit out of the script.

And then there's the practical gore effects: Incredibly over the top.  Done by a killer lead (Art The Clown) who nearly makes all of the death scenes full-on camp.  

The film is ridiculous escapism, pure and simple, but on a $250k budget and, now, a $2.5 million take, I foresee another being made in the future.

Looks like one of those SyFy original movies to be honest. I can't imagine paying to see this. But in it's three weekends at the box office so far it actually has grossed more each weekend than the prior one so it must be good.

I loooooved Art the Clown and the kill scenes , but WHYYY was that movie 2.5 hours long. Like this is my favorite kinda movie but I don't need to see 2.5 hours of it lol. by the end I completely zoned out of what the actual plot tho

But Art is a horror icon/gay legend now for sure. I def want Terrifier 3 I just want it an hour shorter lol
