SMS Texting?

I have a question for escorts. In Europe, SMS texting is very popular and very common. In fact, when I want to make an appointment with my favorite escorts I either see them on gaydar or I will text them on my mobile phone. It is really a convenient way to get an immediate response without really interupting someone.

 

In the US, texting hasn't quite caught on yet. My question is that I think the SMS text is a really convenient way to make appointments (especially if you know each other already). Do you guys see this as a new way to make and confirm appointments?

That's a good question and one I have had myself. Some of the clients I see have already started to text me, if even just to say hello. It definitely isn't popular among the majority of them however. My guess has been because, like the discretion required with a phone call, a client may only be dealing with a window of opportunity where it is convenient to receive a response. I have only been sent a text message when I already know the client and he is someone with whom I feel comfortable contacting.

 

One related conflict I have always had personally is that I hate responding to pages from clients who I have never met. I just don't like the idea of cold-calling a man for a booty call when it's my booty he wants. I suspect that some escorts may feel the same and view text messages as too impersonal or something along those lines.

 

Maybe escorting could be like American Idol... and the client who sends the most texts can win the date!
