Which I did and have not had sex since I was tested.

It tells *me* I'm HIV Negative.

So hiJinX is right. For some people, there *IS* value in being tested.

Okay. And how is that relevant to the issue of whether an escort can provide a client with documentation that he is HIV negative as of the time of the appointment with the client?

Back to the original question:

> Is there any kind of documentation you can carry around to assure a client of your HIV status?

Well, while it isn't exactly "documentation" I believe that the late Scott O'Hara had "HIV+" tattooed

on his arm - anyway I'm sure that people got the message ...

I suppose if there was a test that could show whether a person is negative in real time and both people had it, there would be no need to use protection. Given the number of people who seem to be involved in barebacking that is obviously something that would be attractive to many.

But even if neither party is interested in doing that there is a certain amount of stress that would be eliminated from the encounter. Although certain posters here keep telling us that as long as one uses protection it makes no difference whether one's partner is negative, we all know that is not true. Condoms are not 100% effective, so unless one wants to give up intercourse entirely it does make a difference.

>both participants come up negative and you fuck like

>rabbits without protection. WHAT FUN .. . until the next

>disease works it's way through the world and another

>generation of us is decimated.

I don't see why it follows that some new deadly STD will crop up. How long has it been since the last new STD was identified? Has there been one in the last twenty years?

I didn't mean to sound like a fanatical preist predicting armogeddon from the top of a rock. I was just advocating general safety measures no matter what you know you and your partners may have. I don't feel it's certain that my house will burn down but that doesn't mean I'm removing all of my fire alarms.

As for discovering new STD's, it actually has been fairly recently that Kaposi's Sarcoma was linked to Human Herpesvirus 8. A fairly recently discovered (I believe) strain which is believed to be sexually transmitted, and incidentally does not have a widely available test. While not a deadly disease it does illustrate that new bugs are discovered constantly. In any case, an extended period of time between discoveries of STD's doesn't guarantee none will ever be discovered.

Are you deliberately being cluelessly stupid with me? You seem to be from other answers to my posts.

This topic has gotten beyond escort/client matters to whether or not an HIV test of negative proved anything worthwhile to anyone. The text of your post I quoted is an example of how it had become a more general discussion.

You claimed it was totally valueless. I proved you wrong. You are still wrong. Deal with it.

No, it just seems that way because I'm forced to come down to your level in order to communicate with you.

This is a delusion on your part.

Says who? You will find that the escort/client issue is the only one addressed by my posts in this subthread. I challenge you to show otherwise.

>You claimed it was totally valueless.

You are a liar. My post #16 states that ABSENT certain conditions a negative test result tells little. I challenge you to show otherwise or admit you lied about what I said.

> I proved you wrong.

>You are still wrong. Deal with it.

The best way to deal with your lies is to call you on them. I have just done so, liar. Admit you lied.
