Welcome to both.  As someone who lives in the DMV area, I can say there is generally a fairly regular rotation of providers that don't live here, but make DC a part of their traveling tour.  So it's not uncommon to see a bunch of people here for a week or two and then gone.  

If you find someone who strikes your interest, reach out sooner than later to confirm it as you might find they're already on the move once again.
