Guest Posted May 13, 2022 Share Posted May 13, 2022 (edited) I guess I tend to prefer more melodious music, such as Verdi, Mozart, Puccini, Rossini, Offenbach, Bizet, Handel, and the like. Most modern operas don't do it for me, especially stuff like this, coming up at LA Opera. My mother used to love Pelleas & Melissande by Debussy--but sitting through that one was really torture for me. Any of you like this kind of music?
