OCClient Posted May 4, 2022 Share Posted May 4, 2022 Saw The Judds. I believe it was their last real tour, which at the time was called their farewell tour. I agreed to go with the guy I was dating after he agreed to see The Cure with me. This was long, long before country music began to approach the pinnacle of pop music that it's become. One of the things I remember about that show is how Naomi Judd sparkled on stage and at one point started talking about how great country music really is, 'why, you can even understand the lyrics!' Wow, she lived a roller coaster of a life, some great highs but a lot of crushing lows: hepatitis, diagnosed terminal, crippling bouts of depression, and finally suicide.
