If a client requests materially “more” during a session, then fine, an arrangement can be reached, or not. But the masseur should never tease additional for more fees while in session. If more is voluntarily given, and the client then wishes to “tip” (I.e., pay for additional service), then great; maybe they’ll keep a mutually satisfying relationship going. No one wants to bring their contracts attorney to an appointment to negotiate and track services and fees. It’s very off putting and greatly diminishes the experience. In the long run, repeat clients and positive word of mouth is likely much more valuable than an extra hundred or so here and there from upsell attempts. Leandronyc and Saabster 2
