Hey fellas,

I found the thread on "when is a client too fat" interesting. I'm one of those big guys---about 435-450 lbs. I have to say that I'm very happy to read the mostly-positive, respectful and affirming responses. I have only hired an escort once (a failing I hope to correct very soon) and I chose to take the route of the fellow discussed in that thread: I told him up front about my size and even sent nearly-nude pics so there would be no surprise.

The session was sort of luke-warm: I should have been more explicit about what I wanted, and he was obviously not getting any visual assistance for his performance. To his credit, he was polite and professional and "at-attention" from the start. But that's all another thread, I guess . . .

Unfortunately, I have had some not-so-good experiences, too. I recently emailed four different escorts with the same up-front approach. Only one responded that he was willing, though he also indicated that he is married, has a child, and that his wife doesn't know about the escort work . . . (still another thread). The second one didn't bother to respond at all, and the third suggested that I also hire his lover, then didn't respond when I asked why. The fourth said that once when a 350-lb guy "rode him" he hurt his back---so he declined as well.

I have been obese since childhood, and I made a decision early on that if I were destined to be fat, that I would NOT be a "fat slob." I am clean and well-groomed, work as a professional, and though I am far from wealthy, I make a decent living. I am a basic, down-to-earth guy who tries to be sincere, kind and respectful.

As someone commented in the other thread, rejection really sucks, especially when you are offering money for a little acceptance and affection! So, to the real point of this post, I really want to find someone among you who is a real pro (at least one!), who is within reasonable distance and who would be interested in my "business."

I have to admit that the weight does limit my possible activies somewhat, but I'd love to have someone help me figure out what DOES work. <grin> I'm not naive or a virgin, but at the same time I haven't had a lot of experience. And honestly, I'm a little insecure, so I would love to find someone "safe" (emotionally) who I could see periodically to help me become more confident.

In case it helps you decide, I'm usually a bottom, though I'm open to new ideas. I'm not into anything beyond good hard-vanilla, so there won't be any unusual requests. And I promise I won't do anything to destroy your back! (see above). <grin> It would be very nice if you would at least reciprocate somewhat. I find myself attracted to a wide range of men, with a particular fondness for muscles (though that's very optional).

So, there it is. Anyone interested? Please write me!

BTW: I have read every diet, heard every fat joke and been called every demeaning name there is (I work in a maximum security prison!). I've got a sense of humor, but if you just want to write to lecture me on weight loss or to "flame" me, please resist the temptation. Thanks!

Hey Wolf,

Birmingham, AL may not exactly be the escort capital of the globe. One thought would be to find a pro on this site and go to them in a nearby but larger city or have someone pay you a visit.

Ya know, me too. I've always had a weight problem. Being gay and fat is just the worst of all possible worlds. Starting about 10 months ago, I set my mind to fix it. Twice I have gone on and off the Atkins diet in the most severe form to spark some weight loss. I started an excercise program and hired a trainer. When I started, my weight was at about 410 to 415 pounds. (My trainer made me pose for a nearly naked picture when we started.) No, it wasn't easy. No, the weight vector wasn't always downhill. You'll never do this alone and will need some personal support. There were some quick payoffs, I went from a 50" waist to a 42" waist in about 90 days.

This past Saturday night was payoff. Went to one of my favorite gay bars here in town. Wore a trim, tight, short sleeved black shirt (so nice to be able to buy fashionable clothes in regular stores) and, to make a long story short, I came home with a 24 year old college student who spent the night. (I'm in my mid-40s, BTW.)

My self-confidence is at an all time high. I feel like a teenager again (especially after Saturday) and people who haven't seen me in a while are just shocked. The look on people's faces makes it all worthwhile. Not long ago, I was worried that knee replacement surgery was going to be in my near future. That worry vanished with the weight. Along the way, I've given myself some rewards for meeting and maintaining certain milestones.

Most likely, I'll have to be careful about what I eat for the rest of my life. Going to the gym has gone from being a drudge to being fun. (Lots of attractive men to flirt with, and I don't exactly live in a gay mecca in Scottsdale, AZ.)

Please don't take this as a flame, a lecture or anything other than simple encouragement. If I can drop the weight, so can you. Being thin again is wonderful. I've decided that, as a final reward, if my weight is within 2% of what it is today in six months, I'm going to buy myself the new, Volvo C70 convertible I've been wanting. Plus, I have spent a bit of $$$ on new clothes, and have gotten rid of ALL the stuff the formerly fat me used to wear which is also a big incentive to keep the weight under control.

I wish you all the best. Be happy to chat with you outside this forum to provide some encouragement or just talk.

4-5 hour driving radius, too! ATL, TN . . .

Thanks for the response. You seem like a great guy. I've "been there, done that" with the weight loss thing. About 10 years ago I dropped about 250 lbs! But true to many fat folks' pattern, I eventually quit what I was doing and gained it all back. Long story. Just haven't had the motivation since. Maybe some day...

Meantime, I would LOVE to be able to fly someone here, but I just don't have that kind of money. I'd be willing to drive 4-5 hours in any radius of here, though, so ATLANTA guys, TN guys . . . if you're willing . . .

Congratulations! The only thing you forgot to tell us is how much you weigh now and how tall you are. I would be very interested in knowing this - if I'm not being too nosy?

Now that's what I call a reward!

Obviously your decision to tell them about your weight up front is not working. Try it the old fashioned way of telling the escort no more than he asks. I believe you will experience less rejection in person than.

I figure over the last 15 years or so, I've lost about 20,000 lbs. The last straw was someone suggesting I go to a Halloween party as Eric Cartman. (obnoxious & grossly fat character on South Park)

When is HOTlanta this year? Go then. Everyone will be in a good mood and the party atmosphere will brighten your outlook. One escort in Atlanta that has always caught my eye is Stefan. Seems very sexy and enigmatic.

OK two questions. You say your weight was over 400 pounds yet your waist size was only 50"? The guys I have met that are the size you were had a waist over 60". Also, how did you lose the weight? Did you try Atkins? All you said was you had a trainer and failed Atkins diet twice.

>are the size you were had a waist over 60". Also, how did

>you lose the weight? Did you try Atkins? All you said was

The Atkins diet worked well for me. Very well, in fact. What I was saying is that I returned to the "induction phase" of the Atkins diet twice after starting on Atkins. Both times after the downward trend of weight loss slowed for me. The Atkins induction phase, at least with me, seems to produce some sort of effect that causes me to resume loosing weight when I'd slowed down.

My doctor wasn't wild about the Atkins plan. But, after seeing the results it produced for me began dropping his objections. My doctor was very supportive of my loosing weight. Going to see him at the start and four months later and see his shocked look was a huge boost. I ate an awful lot of chicken and turkey and tended to avoid the fatter cuts of beef. But, a cheeseburger (minus bun) for lunch is always nice.

In my opinion, the biggest contributor to my weight loss was a Precor elliptical trainer for cardiovascular work. The calorie burn meter on the Precor is a powerful incentive. I bought a Precor, and have it in my garage. Hopping on that sucker daily, every single day, with one or two days off per week was huge. As my workouts on the Precor rose to 800 calories per workout and gradually on upward from there, the old weight started really disappearing.

Also, you need to drink copious amounts of water and take some dietary supplements and vitamins. Copious amounts of water. If I could underline that phrase, I would. It keeps the kidneys flushed out and prevents stone formation and many other things. A simple vitamin is a good starting place.

As to the waist size--I guess I was more compact or something? No way to know. Was quite athletic in my youth, perhaps that was a factor.

Thanks for the claarification about the diet and happy you have done so well... good for you!

To the guy who began the thread I would suggest that you not send a pic. You should give him your stats and interests and leave it at that. Some guys will have no problem while others will.

I am not as heavy as you though at 240 pounds I have been rejected by a few escorts. That is OK I rather know up front that to find out 200. dollars later.

I would think the area you live in might narrow your focus as some have mentioned. Probably need to look toward Atlanta, I have had fun with a few escorts there during my travels.

My largest client now weighs over 500 pounds, but he used to be a rugby player. About 50 pounds ago he went to Australia to visit some of his former teammates, and while they were obviously taken aback, he said he could tell they really didn't have any concept of how much weight he'd gained. To them it was like he'd gained like 60 pounds, when really it had been well over 200. We've gone out to eat or to hotels together, and the way he carries himself people don't seem to "see" all the weight.

What I'm getting at is that most people really don't have a concept of what 450 pounds looks like, and what they picture when you say 450 is likely to be vary. You might want to simply tell the escort that you weigh "over 300 pounds" and leave it at that -- and don't send a picture.

Additionally, two things that go a very long way (regardless of your size, come to think of it): a great personality and a great attitude. Some of my best reviews on this site have come from large guys, and they had both in spades. I loved hanging out with them, and they made me feel sexy and appreciated from the get-go. They knew what my hot-buttons were (I had helpfully included a turn-ons page on my site }> ) and pushed them. And, of course, they had let me know what turned THEM on, and I was trying to approach the evening in a similar spirit, etc. So the momentum was there on both sides to create and support a hot, fun encounter.

And, of course, delivering on the cleanliness front is key -- again regardless of size, but when I've chatted with escorts who say "how can you be with such huge clients" the number one issue they always bring up is hygiene. That's probably the single biggest stereotype you're looking at, and so making sure you don't conform to that stereotype is important. Sounds like you've got that one under control. In fact, it sounds like you have a lot going for you -- a certain level of self-acceptance, a good career, and the curiosity and willingness to make a go of things. Good luck and let us know how things progress! :-)

How did you to 800 calories on the Precor? How many minutes is that. I do abot 45 minutes a day, and lose burn about 650 calories. I have mixed feelings about the Precor Eliptical trainer. Were it not for my knees, I would prefer running on a treadmill. I used to do over 1000 calories a day in about 45 minutes, and ditto for the freerunner which was a precursor of the Precor. I just don't feel like I get the same work out on the Precor. Do you program your wait before beginning, or do you just start working out?

They are few, but there ARE angels out there. :-)

Hello again fellas!

Thanks for the replies to my post. I appreciate the input and suggestions. I was skeptical about hearing from anyone, but I'm very happy to tell you all that one very sweet guy (I won't embarrass him by calling his name) sent me a message saying that he travels to Atlanta occasionally and that he would contact me next time he's going to be there. Atlanta is only a bit over two hours from here, so that's very do-able. :-) Now if I can only quit salivating in the meantime. <grin>

Thanks, baby! Can't wait to meet you!
