by the way, I just looked up haiku and that common strict 5-7-5 thing we all learned in 4th grade English class.....apparently, that hard rule isn't observed in Japan so much and it's more about the sound...... 

so glad to see our 9" "fiend" fell in love with the art of poetry at that early age.....and didn't feel obligated to stick to Mrs. Nugent's strict dictate about the 5-7-5 rule.....artistic license?
