He was in the slammer, some involvement with his lover in a child porn crime.  From what I remember he turned state evidence for a lighter sentence and was released a little while ago.  His ( I'm assuming EX ) partner is still in prison.

IIRC his only link to the crimes was living in the same apartment as his lover and having access to the computer on which the lover kept porn with underage boys.
