I visited three times, pre covid of course.

If anyone has been there lately, have things gone back to normal?

Venues, rates, providers, etc. ???

I have not visited Brazil in a while. (11x's prior to the pandemic), but up-to-date information can be obtained from gayguides.com (formerly boytoy).  After reaching the site, click on Forums then scroll to "Latin American Men and Destinations."  You'll find a lot of information to your inquiry.  [If you are not a member, you'll have to join.  I can't remember what else one has to do, but it's regarding posting.  Perhaps information and guides are listed.]

If crime in Brazil is up due to the inflation and COVID closures, it might be best to wait to go to Brazil until the economy improves. Yes, I know some are going now, but these guys, so far as I know, have many local friends and are not walking around by themselves.
