I'm taking my first Virgin America flight next month. Everything I've read about them has been positive. I was wondering if anyone here on the board has flown them and if it was a good flight?

I think they are THE BEST airlines in the business. Virgin America and Virgin Atlantic are both the best in the business. You will not be disappointed and you probably won't want to fly anything else after you do.

I completely agree! I flew Virgin America this past fall and they were fantastic! The staff was super friendly, the in-flight amenities were wonderful (music, movies, tv shows, in-seat food ordering options), and the planes were incredibly clean and comfortable.

The only downside is the limited number of cities they fly out of, but hopefully they will continue to add more and more destinations.

Derek and I loved instant messaging each other. This way we could talk about the other passengers (like screaming children and stinky-food-bringers and cute flight attendants) without anyone knowing. Good fun. :p

I met up with one of VX's flight attendants Sunday night and I can confess he tore me up from the floor up! I hope he is on my flight when I head down next month or at least in town }( Hot meaty Mexi and even had that certain Mexi smell that gets me going :p

This is so sweet! I am on my flight back home to Seattle on VX (Virgin America) and everything from check in to the flight service at least up front has been really great! I think that my "hometown" airline Alaska Airlines (AS) has lost a customer at least on the west coast flights I will be taking this spring and summer. Now if VX would have east coast bound flights out of SEA that would be the icing on the cake. But for now I will enjoy VX on the west coast and grudgingly take AS to the midwest and the east coast.

Hugs,

Greg
