Searching For Posts By A Member

I was trying to search whether a member had had any recent posts. I put the member's nom-de-forum in the search box, but it also seemed to want some kind of tag or search term. I don't have a tag or search term. Am I doing something wrong?

Hold down the search magnifying glass, goes to advanced search. . Put in your search term, then choose the tab to search by member and enter member name.

Yes but I didn't have a search term. I was just looking for posts by a member. But I think I found a way. It was in the About Us section.

Yes.  In the About Us section is "All Members".  Type in the member's name, and then you can view the content from that member.
