I don't care about the 5th cylon. I just want to know about Earth. I was hoping for a better ending in regards to Earth than the original BSG.

The obvious answer to me is StarBuck... the pictures that she kept drawing. Her psychic connection to finding earth again. Her disappearance and reappearance.

 

But being obvious also probably means WRONG.

 

But it has to be a main character.

 

Baltar is beyond obvious, but he does have the psychic link to Six.

Adama? But then Apollo is half-cylon?

Roslyn? No, she has cancer and was temporarily healed by cylon blood.

 

Those are my thoughts.

However, IT is an EPIC LITERARY IMAGE (Woman in a RED DRESS) that was HEIGHTENED in the show. I doubt it will be ignored in the finale. It would be like putting the "SWORD in the STONE" and then forgetting to mention it at the ending.

Apparently it is not any of the main characters, according to Ron Moore, one of the show's creators. If you go to the BSG web site there is a "Last Supper" photo on the main page. In an interview Mr. Moore reveled that the final Cylon was missing from the photo...and there is a space for a missing person between Lee Adama and Col. Tigh. some people are betting Gaeta...but that choice is becoming too obvious. by the way did you catch the little web series that shows Gaeta kissing Hoshi? Apparently they have feelings for one another.

Hmmm... very interesting. I always forget about Gaeta. And nothing comes to mind to disqualify him.

 

How about Tom Zarek (Richard Hatch)? That would just be funny.

 

And no.. didn't see the Gaeta/Hoshi thing.
