For those who frequent Renew Body Wellness on 8th, any idea where Alan went? He was by far my favorite and I stupidly did not ask for his number in case he moved to another spa.

He (Alex) might be gone? IDK.  I last had a massage with him in February.  But saw him on the schedule like two weeks ago.

 

As for Jay, that was just my experience with him in comparison to many other massages I've had in my life.  And the negotiating for tips during the massage was the bigger downside.  To each their own.

i also disagree about jay at 27. he is a really good masseur. he is incredible at stretching. he is definitely better than most.

Alex at NP has been on and off the schedule a lot the past year. He might just fill in here and there when he's available I think.

Definitely do not recommend G Man spa. The place is in basement and doesn’t look sanitary and the guys there are always talking Spanish as if they are talking about you and totally out of shape..

that's not what i asked.  not wanting the therapist to upsell you isn't being cheap.  i'm happy to pay the cost and leave a generous tip without prompting.  so if anyone has an actual recommendation, please post here or dm.  but there's no need to take a jab at me for asking.

I stopped by 27 men’s spa today (without an appointment) and there were orange stickers on the door. They had been shut down by the city and it listed the reason as “prostitution” on June 30, 2026. 
 

I feel so sad for the guys that work there. I wonder when or if it reopens.

you didn't say sensual in your OP, you said sensual/erotic which makes people wonder exactly what you are expecting for a non-upsell experience.
