I also like 27 better than HK @Nyc000here — it’s more private which is why the experiences are better. Unless you get that very private downstairs suite at HK 😈

and yeah — I’m more into the variety of Latin guys at 27/HK than Asians elsewhere, not that I’m opposed to Asians at all - lol

who would you recommend at Energy? I’ve only heard about Alven.

how does one get the very private downstairs suite?  I assume based on the length of massage purchased? Or just luck of the draw?

Luck of the draw, there's just the one room down there, so if it's not occupied

I’ve only had it when I’ve hired the masseurs via RM instead of thru the spa. I think the masseurs grab it if they want / know they’re going to need more privacy than what the upstairs rooms offer.

For those who are familiar with most of the masseurs at most of the NYC Spas, can you recommend specific twink-built therapists?

Spa 27/HK offer a picture roster. Danny and Abel are my two favorite twinks. Sandro and Jose are more twunk.

What other therapists at other spas are your favorites. I look forward to hearing your favorites here or PM me. Thx

I’ll throw this out: Jason at Energy is the closest to a twink build you’ll get right now, while Terry at Paris Men fits that lane too. Kenny is more boyish/playful than twink. If you’re building a list — Paris Men: Terry, maybe Kenny. Energy Men: Jason.

Jason if you are referring to who I think is a bit chunky and not a twink to me but to each his own.

is Simon a twink?

Theo at Energy (former from East Men) definitely is a twink. I would say Simon is a twink too. I don't know Jason, but if he's who I think he is, I would not call him a twink either.

I don’t see Theo on Energy’s booking site. Does he go by another name?

No, just Theo (AFAIK). Whenever I texted East Men or Energy Spa, he's always been called Theo.

I’ve gone to Mike a lot at HK. Indian twink. Very much a strict / straight top though.

For Mike, the massage itself was mediocre at best. And zero extras. I wouldn't repeat.

Interesting. I got a lot of extras from Mike (on my second visit after tipping well on my first visit) - might be a YMMV thing. Agree that the massage itself was average.

I’ve been making the rounds lately and figured I’d share some thoughts comparing a few spots.

27 vs. HK – I still lean toward 27 overall. The rooms feel more private, which makes the sessions smoother and less rushed. HK can be hit-or-miss, though if you luck into that very private downstairs suite, it completely changes the vibe. That space makes it feel like you’re getting a truly personal experience. Guys-wise, I like the mix at both, but the variety of Latin masseurs at 27/HK is what keeps me coming back.

Energy Men – If you’re into leaner, twinkish builds, Energy’s roster is solid. Jason and Theo are worth mentioning, and Simon’s in that lane too depending on your taste. Technique-wise, some of the guys here are stronger than what you get at HK/27—less cookie-cutter and a bit more personalized.

Paris Men – They’ve been stepping it up lately. Terry fits that boyish/twink vibe well, and Kenny has a more playful energy. I’d say the vibe here is a little more polished, less chaotic than 27/HK. If you want a good-looking younger guy with a consistent flow, this is worth a try.

Yeah Man – Definitely not the fanciest setup, but the place still has a steady flow of guys and regulars. If you don’t care about décor and just want straightforward sessions, it’s dependable. A few of the masseurs here give surprisingly great pressure, even if the presentation isn’t as slick as Energy or Paris.

Overall –

  • For privacy: 27 > HK (unless you snag the HK downstairs room).

  • For Latin variety: 27/HK.

  • For twinks/twunks: Energy and Paris Men.

  • For budget, no-frills reliability: Yeah Man.
