As a child star, Dean Stockwell worked with movie actors like Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra. He retired several times, but came back to acting.

One of his most unusual movies was when he played a young gay guy in love with another fellow student.  The two got involved with killing a neighbor for thrill purposes.  

The name of the film is "Compulsion"
