Holiday donation

This year I have enough to pay my bills, rent and keep food on the table, plus a little extra to help others.

 

In memory of an escort I knew who died, I will once again make a donation to St. James Infirmary, a San Francisco organization that "offers free, confidential, nonjudgmental medical and social services for female, transgender, and male sex workers."

If you can afford to do so (and I know I'm one of the lucky ones to be fully employed) I hope you can find an organization to help out this year.

And I forgot to add, for those of you in the biz, I hope that circumstances make it possible for you to have health care in the new year, through either an organization like the above, or through some other means.

 

Can anyone else name similar organizations in your area, so that they might benefit from someone here who is able to donate, or so that someone here might benefit from their services?
