NYC Spas During the Delta Variant

How are people handing the Delta variant from a getting naked in a small space with strangers perspective? I am Phizerized and Prepped for anything but with the horror stories out there, I wondered how folks were making decisions.

I just think it's a good time to take a step back.

I started going again in June when numbers were really good. I've pulled back now that numbers are spiking. I'm fully vaxed but Delta don't play. 

Hopefully they'll leave off soon and I'll return.

Just when I was beginning to step in again.  I think if both are vaxed, continue to take all precautions as before.  I personally feel safer with a private masseur who has a limited # of clients and better control over the environment.  That's not to say that some spas are trying very hard to keep clients and masseurs safe.  If so many people are willing to get on a plane and sit next to someone for several hours, even with a mask on, is going to a spa that much more risky?  It's the air we breathe that presents the most contaminants for COVID not as much with surface contamination.

In the end ...it's all about how efficient your immune system is. The Government is busy pretending you're safe if vaccinated but what they give you doesn't actually guarantee any immunity just a head start for your own immune system to do its job quickly.
