CDMX Mexico City

Hi guys. Returning to Mexico City for the first time since the pandemic. What’s it like now (COVID-19) in comparison to Houston or Miami? What to expect in regard to life in general.
Im looking for a hotel or Airbnb where I can host without any hassle. 
Anyone can help? 
PS. CDMX is awesome for all kinds of reasons but especially for tall, hairy, .”gringo” guys. I’m 50 and in decent shape. All kinds of guys seem to be attracted and even though I do not post or send face pics on Grindr, I can’t fuck all the guys that want to come and play (free). And they almost always show up. 
Any update would be appreciated

I enjoy staying in Condesa. Hip neighborhood and within easy walking distance to all the hot spots, including Tom's.

I remember the first time i went to Tom's.  

I had never been to a bar with a working dark room and that you have to pass through it to get to the men's room was a nice design touch.
