This will likely be an acquired taste for many who view the link below but IMHO this is one of the cleverest web movie's I've seen in a long time.

 

Background - during the writers strike earlier this year Joss Whedon, the creative genius behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a lot of free time on his hands when not on the picket line agaist the stuidos. He decided to show the stuidos just what could be done without them.

 

If you recall the groundbreaking musical episode of Buffy a few years back, then you'll see some real genius work in this webisode.

 

A brief synopsis to set the scene...Neil Patrick Harris plays Doctor Horrible an inept villian trying to get into the Evil League of Evil and win the girl of his dreams all the while being foiled by his nemisis Captain Hammer.
