If so, would you continue to hire if they raised their prices?

My massage/escort budget has been cut so much with the rise is gasoline and basic food prices, I am not sure if there's any left after the rise in electricity, gas and water comes through in the next month or so.

mood: sad :-(

The smart escort will not raise his fees and the smart escort might even lower his prices in an effort to encourage business. In fact, one person I spoke with recently has decided to lower his overnight rates in the hopes of not loosing any business… as opposed to attracting new business. Raising rates in the current economic climate would not constitute good business sense. In addition, as someone who has seen and been through various business cycles over the years experience tells me that (to further complicate matters) people tend to be less free with their money in a presidential election year. In fact anything that brings a sense of uncertainty and insecurity regarding the future usually depresses business.

Now add to the equation that we are talking about discretionary spending and I think that the answer to the question would be “No way José would most individuals continue to hire at their current pace if prices were raised…”
